Prosper Adibor has a BSc in Accounting and is the CEO of Prosperity Leather Works, Warri. Though re-trained in Shoe Making in the State Government’s Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Programme (STEP), he had previously acquired knowledge in other aspects of leather works such as making of bags, purses, and belts.

With his starter pack, Prosper was able to establish a shoe-making shop in Warri and has lots of clients who patronize his products. Hear him,

“Though challenging, I am making progress. I make bags, shoes, palm sandals and slippers for both male and female.

“Over time, my capacity has improved, and the patronage and reward are good. I make at least 35% of my investment.

“Job creation programme made me independent, married and able to fend for myself. I have trained ten persons, and two have graduated and become established.

“Entrepreneurship and Business Management Training made me what I am. I learnt a lot through the training, and I had the opportunity to meet competent resource persons who inspired me on how to manage and build my business.”
