The death toll from the tanker accident which occured in Boji-Boji Owa, Agbor in Ika northeast local government area of Delta State, has risen to five, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), has said.
Speaking to journalists on Tuesday January 25th 2022, the Sector Commander in the state, Ibrahim Abubakar, disclosed that three male adults, a female and a child died in the tanker accident.
He revealed that three persons were rushed to Agbor Central Hospital, where they are currently receiving medical attention.
According to him, the clash destroyed five vehicles.
It would be recall that on Monday January 24th 2022, a fuel laden tanker lost brake at about 4:00pm while ascending the hill and crashed into a woman carrying two children from school and two others.
